Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Olyezy Android app and website, and every booking you make through them. Please read section 12 on liability and section 18 on disputes carefully — they affect your legal rights.
Effective: 16 September 2026Last updated: 16 September 2026

01This agreement

This is an agreement between you and Olyezy Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Olyezy", "we", "us"). By creating an account, making a booking, or using our app or website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Account & Data Deletion Policy form part of these terms.

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require a physical signature.

02What Olyezy is, and what it is not

We arrange your trip; a driver-partner performs it
Olyezy is a technology platform that connects you with independent driver-partners and vehicle operators. We are an aggregator and an intermediary. We are not a transport operator, and we do not own the vehicle or employ the driver who completes your trip.

Drivers and vehicle operators are independent contractors. We select partners with care, verify licences and vehicle documents, and hold them to the standards in section 10 — but the driving itself is performed by them, not by us.

We operate in line with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, as applicable to our operations.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Children may travel, but only accompanied by a responsible adult who holds the booking. You must provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.

04Your account and OTP

Accounts are secured by a one-time password sent to your mobile number. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure and for activity on your account.

Never share your OTP
Neither our staff nor any driver will ever ask you for your OTP. Anyone who does is attempting fraud. Do not share it, and report the attempt to us.

Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. One person may hold one account; we may merge or close duplicates.

05Booking and confirmation

  • A booking request is an offer, not a confirmed trip. It becomes binding only when we confirm it with a booking reference and driver or vehicle allocation.
  • Fares shown before confirmation are estimates, based on the distance and route you entered. The confirmed fare is the one in your confirmation message.
  • Driver and vehicle details are shared close to pickup time. We may substitute an equivalent or better vehicle, or a different driver, where operationally necessary.
  • We may decline or cancel a booking where the route is unsafe or unserviceable, the vehicle becomes unavailable, we suspect fraud, or completing it would be unlawful. Where we cancel and you are not at fault, you receive a full refund.

06Fares, tolls and extra charges

Unless your confirmation says the fare is all-inclusive, the following are charged in addition and are payable by you:

  • toll charges, inter-state permit fees and entry taxes on the route;
  • parking and airport entry charges;
  • driver allowance for night driving and overnight halts, at the published rate;
  • waiting charges beyond the free waiting period stated in your confirmation;
  • charges for distance or hours beyond the package you booked, at the published per-km or per-hour rate; and
  • GST and other applicable taxes.

For round trips, fares are usually calculated on the minimum daily kilometres stated at booking, whether or not you travel that distance. Route changes, added stops or extended trips are re-priced at the published rates. We will tell you the revised amount before charging it wherever it is practical to do so.

07Payment

Depending on the booking, we may take an advance online and the balance directly by the driver, or the full amount online. Online payments are processed by [[PAYMENT_GATEWAY_NAME]]. We never receive your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

Always ask for a receipt for cash paid to a driver. Payments made outside our app or our gateway — including transfers to a driver’s personal account — are at your own risk, and we cannot refund or verify them.

Unpaid dues on a completed trip may be recovered, and may lead to suspension under section 16.

08Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation windows, charges and refund timelines are set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

09Your responsibilities during a trip

  • Be at the pickup point at the confirmed time; waiting charges apply after the free period.
  • Carry valid photo identification, which some routes and checkpoints require.
  • Wear a seatbelt, and follow the driver’s reasonable safety instructions.
  • Do not ask the driver to speed, overload the vehicle, or break any traffic law.
  • Do not carry anything illegal, hazardous, flammable, or prohibited by the Motor Vehicles Act.
  • Do not consume alcohol or smoke in the vehicle.
  • Do not exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle you booked.
  • Treat the driver with courtesy; abuse, harassment or threats end the trip immediately.
  • You are responsible for the cost of damage or excessive soiling you or your co-passengers cause to the vehicle, including cleaning charges.
  • Look after your own belongings. We coordinate the recovery of items left behind but cannot guarantee it.

10Driver standards and what to do if they slip

We require every driver-partner to:

  • hold a valid commercial driving licence and current vehicle documents;
  • drive lawfully and safely, and not while fatigued or intoxicated;
  • keep the vehicle clean, air-conditioned as booked, and roadworthy;
  • take the agreed route, and not solicit payment above the confirmed fare; and
  • behave courteously and professionally towards every passenger.
If something goes wrong during a trip
Contact us immediately on +91 99006 10570 or WhatsApp +91 99006 10570. For anything involving safety, contact the police on 112 first, then tell us. We investigate every complaint and remove partners who fail these standards.

11Prohibited use

You must not:

  • make fake, speculative or automated bookings, or bookings you do not intend to take;
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose, including transporting contraband or people against their will;
  • impersonate anyone, or book using someone else’s contact details without their consent;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with our app, website or systems;
  • attempt to bypass security, rate limits or authentication;
  • resell or commercially redistribute our service without our written agreement; or
  • abuse promotional codes, referrals or refunds.

12Liability

We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a vehicle will always be available on a given route at a given time.

Because driver-partners are independent contractors, we are not liable for their acts or omissions during a trip. Vehicles carry the insurance required by law, and claims arising from an accident are made against that insurance and the operator.

What we are not liable for

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including missed flights, trains, meetings or connections, lost business, or loss of profit — arising from delay, traffic, weather, road closures, breakdown, strikes, protests, or any other event outside our reasonable control.

Cap on our liability

Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability for any claim connected with a booking is limited to the fare you paid for that booking.

What this section does not do
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Olyezy Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd.against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, damage you cause to a vehicle, or your violation of any law or of another person’s rights.

14Intellectual property

The Olyezy name, logo, app, website, design and content belong to Olyezy Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app to book trips. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works from it.

If you send us a review, photo or suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and promote the service. You can ask us to stop using it at any time.

15Third-party services

The app uses third-party services including Google Maps and a payment gateway. Your use of those is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy — including map, route and traffic estimates, which are indicative only.

16Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse a driver or our staff, leave dues unpaid, or use the service fraudulently or unlawfully. Except where immediate action is needed, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account through our deletion process. Sections on payment, liability, indemnity, intellectual property and governing law survive termination.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our service or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and material changes are notified in the app, by email or by SMS before they take effect. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms in force when you booked.

18Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the step below, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.

Talk to us first. Almost every dispute is resolved by contacting our support team or Grievance Officer. Please raise your complaint with us and allow us 30 days to resolve it before starting formal proceedings.

Nothing here prevents you from approaching a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
